Allstate opens claims training campus in Dallas

Allstate has opened Allstate Claims University, a 33,000-square-foot training campus in Dallas designed for the insurer’s 23,000 claims professionals, who handle approximately 8.5 million claims annually.

The campus includes a Property Lab with two full-scale, two-story homes that recreate water, fire, wind, hail and structural damage, including damage hidden behind walls, ceilings and floors. Its Auto Lab features nearly 30 electric, hybrid and conventional vehicles selected using insights from more than 3.5 million claims data points.

Claims professionals will train on collision, flood, hail and structural damage, as well as repairs involving airbags, cameras, sensors and advanced driver-assistance systems. According to Allstate, the hands-on training is intended to improve damage assessments and prepare claims teams for increasingly complex homes, vehicles and repair technologies.
