Relation acquires California agricultural insurance agency

Relation Insurance Services  has acquired the assets of Gary McKeighan Insurance Agency, a California-based agency specializing in agricultural insurance. The transaction closed on June 30, 2026.

Based in Fresno, Gary McKeighan Insurance has served customers for more than 50 years, focusing on farm, agricultural, commercial, and personal lines insurance.

Relation said the acquisition expands its agricultural expertise in California, with Gary McKeighan Insurance’s team joining the brokerage to offer clients broader insurance solutions and access to additional resources.

Relation ranks among the 25 largest U.S. insurance agencies by revenue, employs approximately 1,450 people across more than 90 locations, and is backed by private equity firm BayPine.
