King Risk Partners acquires Connecticut construction insurance specialist

King Risk Partners has acquired Roberts Agency , an independent insurance agency based in Bloomfield, Connecticut, expanding its presence in the state and adding expertise in construction insurance and surety bonding.

Founded more than 60 years ago, The Roberts Agency specializes in insurance and surety solutions for homebuilders, general contractors, trade contractors, and other construction businesses. The agency also offers commercial insurance, specialty coverage, employee benefits, and homebuilders programs.

The acquisition expands King Risk Partners’ capabilities in the Northeast while adding to its commercial and employee benefits offerings.

Headquartered in Gainesville, Florida, King Risk Partners is the 51st-largest insurance brokerage in the U.S. and provides personal, commercial, and employee benefits insurance solutions.
