Mitigata raises $15 million
Indian cyber-insurance broker Mitigata has raised $15 million in a Series B funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Nexus Venture Partners, Titan Capital, and WEH Ventures.
Founded in 2023, Mitigata offers an AI-native cyber resilience platform that combines security operations, cyber risk intelligence, and cyber insurance solutions.
According to the company, it serves more than 800 organizations and is India’s first IRDAI-regulated insurance broker focused exclusively on cyber insurance.
The new funding will support international expansion, enhancements to the company’s AI technologies, and the expansion of its Security Operations Centre in India. Mitigata also plans to double its headcount across product, engineering, and customer success teams.

“When we started Mitigata, we weren’t trying to build another cybersecurity company. We believed enterprises needed a different operating model — one that brings security operations, cyber risk intelligence, response and insurance together on a single AI-native platform. Cybersecurity is entering an AI-first era, and resilience will become one of the defining capabilities of the modern enterprise. As AI becomes increasingly embedded into economies and critical infrastructure, security stops being just an IT problem. It becomes a question of trust, continuity and, increasingly, national security. We believe India has a unique opportunity to build world-class cyber resilience infrastructure from India, for the world. This funding allows us to accelerate that vision.” – Mohit Anand, Co-founder and CEO, Mitigata.
