Maximum Information launches PsiClone for live hurricane monitoring

Maximum Information  launched PsiClone, a live event monitoring platform that lets insurers, reinsurers and underwriting teams track portfolio exposure during active tropical cyclones.

The platform analyzes evolving storm forecasts against insurance portfolios in real time, flagging exposure hotspots and high-risk accounts. It extends monitoring up to 15 days ahead using continuous ECMWF ensemble forecast analytics, beyond the sub-week deterministic tracks many workflows rely on.

Users can monitor TIV, PD and BI exposure against live ensemble forecasts, set exposure thresholds, automate reporting and support claims mobilization.

The product ships as an MVP for the 2026 North Atlantic hurricane season. Planned additions include expanded uncertainty modeling, loss distributions and anticipatory parametric pricing.

Humanitarian pilots are underway ahead of the Southern Hemisphere cyclone season in November.
