Rival launches RPM Quoting for insurance brokers

Rival Insurance Technology has launched RPM Quoting, a new rating and quoting capability embedded within its Rival Platform & Marketplace (RPM), as part of the company’s June Gemini release.

The new feature allows brokers to generate quotes directly within RPM, connecting quoting workflows to customer and opportunity data already stored in the platform. RPM serves as a brokerage management system for customer relationships, opportunities, tasks, reporting, and daily operations, with quoting now added to the mix.

The release includes several supporting features, such as automated vehicle data retrieval, carrier credential management, quote presentation tools, email integration, liability slip generation, and expanded language support.

Sharp Insurance, one of Rival’s customers, said the addition of quoting within RPM allows brokers to move from opportunity management to quote generation without leaving the platform, creating a more streamlined workflow.

RPM Quoting is initially focused on private passenger auto insurance with selected carriers. Rival said it plans to expand the solution to additional carriers, lines of business, and regions over time.
