Ullico Casualty Group transitions liability business to Zurich

Ullico plans to transition its fiduciary liability, union liability, and nonprofit labor and management liability business to Zurich American Insurance Company beginning with policies effective January 1, 2027, subject to regulatory approvals.

Following a request for proposal process, Ullico selected Zurich as the new insurance provider for its professional liability program after a 13-year relationship with its incumbent carrier.

Under the arrangement, Ullico Casualty Group will serve as program manager for Zurich, while continuing to provide underwriting and claims services to unions, benefit plans, and their decision-makers. The company said its other program offerings will remain unchanged.
