Nationwide names Andee Gravitt head of pet insurance sales

Nationwide has appointed Andee Gravitt as leader of pet insurance sales, effective June 8, reporting to Nationwide pet insurance president Joel Carnes.

Gravitt most recently served as assistant vice president of Institutional Consultant Relations for Nationwide Retirement Solutions, where she led national consultant engagement strategy for the company’s employer-sponsored retirement plan business. During her nine years with the division, she managed relationships tied to some of Nationwide’s largest retirement plans in the western U.S. and helped build the Consultant Relationships team.

According to Carnes, Gravitt’s experience in sales leadership, client relationship management, and business development will support Nationwide’s growth ambitions in the pet insurance market.

Nationwide insures more than 1 million pets in the US and offers coverage for dogs, cats, birds, and exotic pets through direct and workplace benefits channels.
