QBE appoints Andy Tsui to dual underwriting and people risk roles in Asia

QBE Hong Kong appointed Andy Tsui as Head of Underwriting, Corporate for Hong Kong and Macau, and Asia Head of People Risk, effective June 1, 2026.

Based in Hong Kong, Tsui will oversee underwriting performance, operations, and strategy across corporate product lines in Hong Kong and Macau while also leading QBE’s new People Risk proposition across Asia.

The People Risk offering combines insurance, risk insights, and advisory services focused on workplace injury management, employee compensation, and health-related exposures.

Tsui joins QBE with more than 23 years of experience across underwriting, actuarial, portfolio management, and insurance leadership roles in Asia Pacific.

The appointment follows QBE’s earlier expansion of its Hong Kong and Macau leadership team, including the appointment of Christelle Poh as Head of Distribution in April 2026.
