Zurich appoints Northern regional market head

Zurich UK  appointed Andy King as Head of Regional Market for the North as the insurer continues to invest in regional growth, broker relationships, and service capabilities.

King, who has spent nearly 16 years at Zurich in roles spanning claims, operations, and broker engagement, will lead the Northern region with a broker focused engagement strategy tailored to individual partner needs.

The insurer said its Mid Market business has seen strong new business growth this year and plans to hire 15 additional underwriters in the coming months to support demand and maintain service standards.

Zurich also highlighted the expansion of its Club Blue broker program, which now includes 167 brokers.
