Pharmacists Mutual collaborates with Positive Physicians
Pharmacists Mutual Insurance Company announced a strategic collaboration with Positive Physicians as part of its long term growth strategy in the healthcare professional liability market.
The collaboration is intended to expand Pharmacists Mutual’s professional liability capabilities through participation in select physician liability segments via Positive Physicians’ partner driven “Positive Select Program,” which focuses on underwriting discipline and targeted risk selection.
“We are excited to collaborate with Positive Physicians on this initiative,” said Aaron Pearce, president and CEO of Pharmacists Mutual Insurance Group. “Their focused approach, underwriting discipline, and commitment to their partners stood out immediately.”
Positive Physicians, founded in 2002 by physicians, offers medical professional liability coverage and positions its Positive Select Program as a curated distribution framework limited to select agency partners.
“This collaboration reflects the intentional path we’ve taken to build a differentiated platform in the MPL space,” said Michael G. Roque, president and CEO of Positive Physicians Insurance Company. “Aligning with an organization like Pharmacists Mutual allows us to expand our reach while staying true to that model.”
