Harford Mutual VP retires after 35-year career

Harford Mutual Harford Mutual announced that Vice President Frank P. Kellner III retired on April 1, 2026, after more than 35 years with the company.

Kellner joined the insurer in 1990 and held multiple leadership roles across claims and operations, including Vice President of Claims, Vice President of Claims and Corporate Secretary, and most recently Vice President of Administrative Operations. In his latest role, he oversaw office expansion and real estate operations across Maryland, Kentucky, and South Carolina.

During his tenure, Kellner helped establish the company’s Special Investigation Unit and its Customer Service Representative team, both of which remain core to operations.

President and CEO Steven D. Linkous said Kellner played a key role in shaping the company’s culture and long-term development.

Outside the company, Kellner has been involved with several community organizations, including Harford Family House, the Harford County Government Local Management Board, and the University of Baltimore’s Risk Management and Insurance Advisory Board.
