Go.Compare launches ChatGPT app for insurance comparison
UK comparison site Go.Compare launched a ChatGPT app that allows consumers to compare car, van, and home insurance products directly within ChatGPT.
The integration enables users to access Go.Compare’s comparison services without leaving the chat interface. Customers can generate quotes, edit details, and rerun comparisons through the app.

“Integrating Go.Compare with ChatGPT is an exciting step into AI and provides a new way for customers to find our service. Where we hope this will help our customers is by providing quotes in a fraction of the time that it would take previously. From here, they can edit details and, if necessary, re-run quotes via the app. Since its inception, Go.Compare has always aimed to push technology to the limit to make things easier for consumers, but without compromising on the cover that people buy. We were the first comparison site to compare the product features of a policy and not just price, and it’s that ethos we try to bring to every new technological innovation. We know that speed is key; no one wants to spend more time than they have to on shopping for insurance, but this should never come at a price where cover is compromised. By launching a ChatGPT app, we are meeting customers where they are – and we will always do this in a way that protects their interests when it comes to finding the right insurance cover. It’s an exciting first step and we’re looking forward to helping people save money even faster and easier than before.” – Lee Griffin, Chief Executive of Go.Compare .
Founded in 2006, Go.Compare is part of Future plc and is regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority.
Separately, Naked Insurance said it became the first insurer in South Africa to offer binding insurance quotes through ChatGPT. The company allows consumers to obtain quotes directly within the platform as part of its digital-first distribution strategy.
