Seafarer adds non-admitted yacht program offering

Seafarer Marine, an underwriting program specializing in marine insurance, announced the launch of a non-admitted yacht program, with surplus lines coverage available in all 50 states backed by an A.M. Best A-IX (Excellent) rated domestic E&S carrier.

Seafarer’s appointed brokers will now have direct access to both admitted and non-admitted capacity. In addition to the non-admitted yacht program, Seafarer’s admitted programs include insurance for marinas, commercial vessels and charter boats.

Founded in 2021 by Tom Murphy, Seafarer Marine launched as part of the MISSION portfolio of programs.

“This launch is about expanding the reach and access of Seafarer’s core offering. By offering a variety of solutions, we’re working to build a single, comprehensive marine insurance platform to best support our agents and partners.” – Tom Murphy, CEO of Seafarer Marine.
