Mutual of Omaha expands API integrations across major benefits administration platforms

Mutual of Omaha has added API connections across several major benefits administration platforms, with live integrations now available on ADP, Employee Navigator, bSwift, and PlanSource covering plan setup and evidence of insurability workflows.

The integrations are designed to reduce implementation friction, cut enrollment errors, and automate the evidence of insurability process — administrative pain points that have traditionally required manual back-and-forth between carriers, brokers, and employers.

More connections are on the roadmap for later this year. ADP enrollment and Employee Navigator EOI are both targeted for Q2 2026, and Workday integrations covering plan setup, EOI, and enrollment are also planned, though without a specific timeline attached.

Scott Ault, President of Workplace Solutions at Mutual of Omaha, framed the push as part of a broader goal of becoming the easiest group carrier to do business with — a positioning the company has leaned into as benefits administration platforms become increasingly central to how brokers and employers manage group coverage.

“Through innovative APIs and strong relationships, we’re making benefits administration faster, simpler and more accurate, delivering the real-time experience our brokers and clients expect. We remain committed to our mission of being the easiest group insurance carrier to work with and look forward to building on this promise.” – Scott Ault, President, Workplace Solutions at Mutual of Omaha.
