WoodmenLife appoints director of accounting operations

WoodmenLife has appointed Kathia Garelik as Director, Accounting Operations, effective December 8, 2025.

In the role, Garelik oversees Accounts Receivable, Accounting Operations, Purchasing, and Financial Planning and Analysis. The company said her experience with regulatory reporting and financial oversight will support risk management and strengthen its accounting function.

Garelik previously served as State Regulatory Reporting Manager and Insurance Data Analyst at National Indemnity Company. Earlier in her career, she held roles at the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation, including Financial Examiner/Analyst Supervisor, Reinsurance Financial Specialist, and Actuarial Analyst.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from Florida State University.
