IMG to acquire World Nomads from nib

SiriusPoint announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, International Medical Group (IMG) , will acquire World Nomads , the global travel insurance and lifestyle brand owned by nib Group .

World Nomads generates approximately $40 million in gross written premium and serves independent, lifestyle, and adventure travelers worldwide. The acquisition expands IMG’s global travel insurance distribution and adds reach in Australia, Brazil, and Canada. It follows IMG’s recent purchase of Assist America, which produces about $20 million in annual assistance revenue.

The transaction is expected to close on the purchase of a majority stake in the second or third quarter of 2026, with final closing anticipated in the second half of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and customary conditions.
