InsureMO and NTT DATA Take Proven Insurance Modernization Model Global, Starting with Latin America
LISBON, PORTUGAL — InsureMO and NTT DATA are taking a partnership model that has already transformed how insurers operate in Japan and scaling it across Latin America. This week, the two companies convened senior leadership from three continents in Lisbon for a strategic workshop focused on one objective: accelerating insurance modernization in Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Chile, and Ecuador.
The expansion comes at a time when Latin American insurers are under increasing pressure to modernize legacy core systems — but lack a clear path to do so without disrupting existing operations. InsureMO‘s open, modular platform gives them that path. NTT DATA, as implementation partner, brings the regional expertise and delivery capability to execute it.
The model is not theoretical. In Japan, where the partnership originated over a decade ago, InsureMO and NTT DATA have jointly delivered more than 10 major transformations — spanning insurers, telecommunications companies, credit card administrators, and approximately 30 regional banks. The Lisbon workshop was designed to codify that playbook and adapt it for Latin American markets.

Under the expanded partnership, NTT DATA will serve as the primary implementer and systems integrator for InsureMO‘s platform across Latin America, helping insurers modernize core operations through AI and emerging technologies. The agreement also includes joint development of products tailored to regional market demands.
