Salvato expands salvage platform into the Midwest
Salvato announced a strategic expansion with existing customers into the U.S. Midwest, marking its first major move beyond Texas. The rollout is scheduled for Q2 2026.
The expansion will bring Salvato’s fully digital salvage auction platform to Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, and Wisconsin, with additional neighboring states to follow based on demand. The company said the move extends its ability to eliminate physical paperwork from the lien and title process nationwide, helping insurers shorten total loss claim timelines while supplying buyers with insurance vehicles at lower auction fees.

Salvato launched in Texas in 2025 and reports that insurers switching from legacy auction vendors have seen faster cycle times, quicker policyholder payments, and improved salvage returns. The Midwest expansion builds on that traction as the company looks to scale its paperless, multi-state salvage model across new regions.
