OneBefore partners with CoverCubed

OneBefore has entered a distribution partnership with CoverCubed  to offer accident and health income protection cover to small and medium sized businesses, contractors, and sole traders in the UK.

The partnership marks CoverCubed’s entry into the UK market and expands OneBefore’s direct distribution reach within the SME segment. The initial rollout focuses on accident and health cover designed to protect income for small businesses and self employed individuals, distributed directly through CoverCubed’s platform.

OneBefore specializes in accident, absence, health, and travel insurance and is backed by Mission Underwriting UK. The company said the partnership builds on its existing consumer offerings while addressing income vulnerability among smaller businesses that lack employer provided sick pay or medical leave.

CoverCubed, which has previously operated in South Africa, positions its platform as a digital, relationship driven ecosystem for insurance and healthcare solutions. The company plans to use the OneBefore partnership as its first step in scaling operations in the UK.

The partnership is aimed at reaching underserved SME and self employed customers with direct access to income protection products, with both companies expecting to expand distribution as the platform gains traction.
