Misty Kuamoo named CTO of Nationwide Financial
Nationwide has appointed Misty Kuamoo as SVP and Chief Technology Officer of Nationwide Financial, succeeding Michael Carrel, who was named enterprise CTO in December 2025.
In the role, Kuamoo will oversee all technology solutions supporting Nationwide’s financial services businesses. She most recently served as SVP and CTO of Corporate Technology & Workplace Solutions, where she led technology for finance, HR, investments, legal, and marketing, and oversaw corporate real estate and digital workplace initiatives. Earlier, Kuamoo held leadership roles in Nationwide’s cybersecurity organization as VP of Shared Security Services.
Kuamoo brings more than 30 years of experience across financial services, manufacturing, retail, and software, and holds a CISSP certification.
