Brisc AI adds Claude Lefebvre to advisory board

Brisc AI has announced that Claude Lefebvre has joined its advisory board, bringing deep underwriting and reinsurance experience to support the company’s product and strategic direction.

At Brisc, Lefebvre will advise on the strategic development of the platform and go-to-market alignment as the company helps insurers operate more efficiently and scale core workflows using agentic AI.

The addition reflects Brisc’s focus on applying AI in a practical, insurance-native way — working within existing systems to reduce operational friction, improve decision-making, and unlock value across submissions, bordereaux, and claims workflows.

Lefebvre brings more than 30 years of experience across the global (re)insurance industry, spanning underwriting, actuarial science, distribution, and strategic business development. He is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Helix Underwriting Partners Ltd., a multi-jurisdictional MGA platform operating across Bermuda, the UK, and the United States.

His prior roles include Chief Underwriting Officer for Casualty & Specialty at Hamilton Re, and Head of Casualty Reinsurance at Arch Reinsurance Ltd. Earlier in his career, he served as Managing Director and Head of Analytics for EMEA at Guy Carpenter, where he was a member of the firm’s executive committee.

Lefebvre is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
