SageSure names John Sence Chief Sales Officer

SageSure appointed John Sence as Chief Sales Officer, bringing him over from Cincinnati Insurance Companies, where he led national personal lines sales. Sence will oversee sales strategy, distribution growth, and producer engagement as SageSure looks to expand beyond its current $3 billion of inforce premium.

The hire reflects SageSure’s push to strengthen its buying experience and deepen partnerships with producers. In recent years, the company has invested in upgraded systems, new capabilities in earthquake and wildfire, and expansion into mass-affluent segments.

Sence spent 14 years in the independent agency channel before moving into carrier leadership, giving him experience on both sides of the distribution equation. At Cincinnati Insurance, he led growth across 45 states with a focus on middle and high-net-worth customers.

SageSure describes the appointment as a strategic move to support its next stage of growth. Sence said he plans to help producer partners unlock new opportunities for profitability and better serve customers in catastrophe-exposed markets.
