Worry+Peace Introduces PouchMail, Smarter Email Platform
UK-based digital broker Worry+Peace announced the launch of PouchMail, a smarter insurance email address to allow prospects and customers to interact with the agency sans insurance spam.
Refresher. Worry+Peace was launched last year by James York to offer personal lines insurance. Its flagship service is called Pouch, an insurance wallet (think: web platform) that allows one to manage his/her insurance transactions. The introduction of PouchMail has been set up to support Pouch and to allow the platform users to identify new leads.
“This project was called “Sherbet Pips”, as when we tested the idea versus others in our roadmap, we realized lots of little bits of information would result. Plus, all our Pouch updates are sweeties” – James York.
Three things to note. One. PouchMail is fully integrated with Pouch. Two. It allows Worry+Peace to create a handpicked marketplace of sellers with elastic ties to the Pouch platform, which translates to lower costs of acquisition that can be passed on to customers by sellers. Three. The company plans to launch an app come 2018.
The email is formatted as: 1stname.2ndname@Pouch.FYI and enjoys the following use cases, to name three:
- Using PouchMail instead of one’s gmail, hotmail etc. for any insurance quote or purchase
- Forwarding emails in PouchMail to one’s email
- Enjoying a single viewpoint of all of one’s insurance transactions
Word on the Street: “Very clever. But most impressively, it’s so super simple .”
