Specialist Risk Group acquires Health Partners Europe and SEMPRIS

Specialist Risk Group  has acquired Health Partners Europe (HPE) and SEMPRIS, expanding its presence in healthcare and sports insurance.

Founded in 1993, HPE designs and manages bespoke healthcare schemes for elite athletes across more than 80 sports and has served as the Premier League’s appointed healthcare advisor since 1994. In 2010, it launched SEMPRIS to offer professional indemnity coverage for medical professionals treating athletes.

HPE also developed Formis, an athlete management system used to oversee health, performance, and injury assessments. As part of SRG, HPE will continue to invest in technology and enhance access to healthcare and insurance services for professional sports organizations.
