Liberty Mutual, Landmark partner on student housing projects

Liberty Mutual Investments and Landmark Properties have formed joint ventures to develop two student housing projects — The Mark State College at Penn State and The Mark Mansfield at the University of Connecticut — totaling 1,255 beds.

The projects mark Liberty Mutual’s first collaboration with Landmark and expand its student housing portfolio, which now includes about 17,000 beds near major universities. Financing was arranged by TSB Capital Advisors.

The Mark State College will add 515 beds in a 12-story building featuring a rooftop pool, skydeck, and study lounges, while The Mark Mansfield will deliver 740 beds in Storrs, Connecticut, with amenities including a fitness center, sauna, and gaming lounge.
