DKV partners with Kaia Health

DKV Deutsche Krankenversicherung expands its partnership with Kaia Health to include a new digital therapy for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Following the success of the Kaia app for back pain, DKV policyholders with comprehensive or supplementary health coverage can now access Kaia COPD, an evidence-based app offering breathing and relaxation exercises, educational content, and an AI-powered exercise coach that provides real-time feedback.

The app, a CE-certified medical device, is designed to help patients manage symptoms from home while complementing standard treatment — part of DKV’s broader push to integrate digital healthcare solutions into patient care.
