Tyson & Mendes launches Apex Defense Consulting

Tyson & Mendes has launched Apex Defense Consulting, a new spinoff firm focused on helping insurers and defense counsel counter Nuclear Verdicts® and social inflation.

Apex Defense Consulting offers three main services: education, consulting, and community. The firm provides on-demand training for claims teams, a resource library, and a virtual platform for collaboration. It also offers pretrial, trial, and post-trial consulting to support carriers and defense counsel in high-exposure cases.

The venture is led by Tyson & Mendes trial lawyers, who coined the term Nuclear Verdicts® and developed The Apex, a data-driven blueprint for defense strategies. The launch coincides with the release of Nuclear Verdicts®: The Apex – Break the Pattern, coauthored by Robert F. Tyson, Jr. and Cayce E. Lynch.
