DUAL launches cargo insurance in Europe

DUAL Europe has launched its cargo insurance business, effective September 1, 2025, as part of its expanding marine proposition.

The new unit is led by Chris Wittoeck, Head of Cargo, who brings over 25 years of experience in marine cargo underwriting, supported by Marc Stoopman, Lead Underwriter Cargo, DUAL Benelux, with three decades of expertise in marine, cargo, and logistics insurance.

Cargo claims will be overseen by Femke Nollet, Head of Claims, DUAL Benelux, until a dedicated team is established.

The offering provides all-risks coverage with cargo-related extensions, stock and transit protection, and both lead and follow lines underwriting for a wide range of clients across Europe.
