Co-operators acquired Agence D’Assurances Montcalm

Co-operators acquired Agence D’Assurances Montcalm, a Québec City brokerage with about 3,000 home, auto, and commercial policies. Montcalm staff will remain at the current location, and existing coverage stays in place through the policy term.

This marks Co-operators’ seventh acquisition in Quebec since 2017, part of its regional expansion strategy. The insurer, Canada’s fourth largest P&C provider, now operates 13 corporate branches in the province.
