Nexible quietly winds down
In 2017, Munich Re, through ERGO, launched Nexible as a digital auto insurance brand. Customers could quote, bind, manage, and cancel online, with claims estimated and reimbursed in hours.
By 2022, the auto product was pulled, with all contracts terminated by the end of 2023. Nexible pivoted to selling travel and dental insurance online.

Now, Nexible has stopped selling new policies altogether. The company announced on its site that due to synergies within ERGO Group, Nexible GmbH has discontinued the direct sale of travel and dental insurance. Existing customers remain covered, with policies managed by ERGO Reiseversicherung AG and nexible Versicherung AG.
