Allianz and Evoque partner on sustainable property salvage

Allianz UK  has partnered with Evoque Group Limited to introduce a sustainable property salvage program within its commercial property claims operation. Evoque, which specializes in zero-to-landfill solutions through salvage resale and recycling, will identify items that can be repurposed or responsibly disposed of during the claims process.

In 2024, Evoque diverted 3.3 million kilograms of waste from landfill, reducing CO₂ emissions by roughly 7,500 metric tons, and aims to reach 6 million kilograms in 2025. The partnership allows Allianz to cut claims costs by crediting salvage value back to the claim, while supporting its sustainability goals by reducing waste and environmental impact.

The initiative begins in commercial property claims but may expand into other claims areas.
