Oscar launches Superagent

Oscar Health announced the launch of Superagent, an AI-powered assistant designed to help members and Care Guides get clear, accurate answers to health insurance questions.

“Today, we’re announcing Superagent, an AI intelligence layer designed to give members faster, clearer answers to their health insurance questions. Powered by GPT and built on a suite of specialized sub-agents, Superagent can understand natural-language questions, search trusted internal data sources, and generate accurate responses with speed and confidence. We believe it’s the first healthcare AI that can operate health insurance systems in real time.”

Superagent is now live for all members on the Oscar app and HiOscar.com. According to the press release, it will soon support voice, action-taking (like updating a PCP), and more complex inquiries like billing and prior auth status.
