RiverStone International names Paul Brockman as incoming CEO

RiverStone International  has appointed Paul Brockman as Group CEO, succeeding longtime executive Luke Tanzer, who is set to retire later this year. Brockman, joining from Enstar Group, brings over 30 years of experience in legacy insurance, including senior roles across the U.S., London, and Bermuda.

His appointment is effective January 2026, pending regulatory approval.

Andrew Creed, currently Group CFO, has been named Group President while retaining his CFO responsibilities. Creed has been with RiverStone for more than a decade and previously led its UK and Lloyd’s businesses. The leadership changes follow a strong year for RiverStone, which reported $300 million in adjusted pre-tax profit and a 19.1% return on tangible book value in 2024. Since 2010, the company has completed 47 transactions, acquiring $17.7 billion in gross liabilities.
