Progressive to shut down Stretch Financial
Stretch Financial Wellness, the fintech initiative by Progressive, is shutting down. The unit sent out a message to users informing them that Stretch Financial Wellness accounts will be deactivated on 8/31/2025.

Stretch Financial has seen several changes over its ~5-year journey, but it’s latest version included a money management app that also allows users to pay different types of debt, a feature powered by fintech startup Method Financial. It also launched a financial marketplace, which connects users to credit card and personal loan offers, among other things.
Stretch Financial was launched by Level20, the new business incubator for Progressive. Earlier this year we reported that Castle (Home Repair), a home repair initiative by Progressive, has shut down.
