Hippocratic AI partners with EUCALIA to launch Japanese generative AI healthcare agent
Hippocratic AI has partnered with Tokyo-based EUCALIA to bring a Japanese-language generative AI healthcare agent to market. The tool will assist clinicians with non-diagnostic, patient-facing tasks such as appointment scheduling, medication follow-ups, and chronic care check-ins. This marks Hippocratic AI’s entry into Japan.
The initiative aims to reduce clinician workload and improve patient engagement in a healthcare system facing an aging population and workforce shortages. The agent will be powered by Hippocratic’s Polaris Constellation System, which has already handled over 1.85 million patient calls in the U.S. and is used by more than 25 healthcare enterprises.
EUCALIA will begin deploying the system at medical institutions in Japan, with plans to expand its use. The partnership combines Hippocratic’s AI platform with EUCALIA’s experience in hospital operations and digital transformation.
