Burns & Wilcox appoints new leaders in New York & Chicago offices

Burns & Wilcox has announced leadership changes in its New York and Chicago offices.

In New York, Alex Gargano has been appointed as Managing Director. He brings over 30 years of experience, including roles at Vault as Senior Vice President of Underwriting E&S and nearly two decades at AIG in various leadership positions. Gargano will oversee operations across New York and the Tri-State area, reporting to Doug Legters, Regional Vice President for the Northeast.

In Chicago, Erica Rangel has been promoted to Associate Managing Director. With nearly 20 years in the industry, Rangel is recognized for her work in professional liability and has contributed to the growth of the company’s Professional Liability Practice in the Midwest. She joined Burns & Wilcox over seven years ago after positions at RT Specialty and CRC.
