Monarch raises $75 million

Personal finance app Monarch Money has raised $75 million in Series B financing at a valuation of $850 million. The round was co-led by FPV Ventures and Forerunner Ventures, with participation from Menlo Ventures, Accel, SignalFire, and Clocktower Ventures.

Founded in 2018, the San Francisco-based startup offers a mobile app for tracking spending, investments and money goals. Monarch offers a yearly plan at $99 and a monthly plan that goes for $14.99.

Val Agostino, the co-founder and CEO of Monarch, was an early product manager at Mint, the budgeting app that was shut down last year by Intuit.
