BPL secures investment from Preservation Capital Partners
Berry Palmer & Lyle ( BPL Global ), a broker in credit and political risk insurance (CPRI), has received a minority investment from financial services-focused investor Preservation Capital Partners.
The deal supports BPL’s growth while maintaining its independence and employee ownership.
PCP will bring strategic expertise and resources to help BPL scale, with no changes to leadership. The partnership is expected to close in Q4 2025, pending regulatory approval.
Founded in 1983, the broker has a team of 181—reflecting 24% growth over the past year. With the largest team in the CPRI market, a 2023 premium volume of US$700 million, and nearly 20% market share, it is the leading broker in the space.
