Sedgwick launches carbon neutral repairs initiative in the UK

Sedgwick has introduced a carbon neutral repairs initiative in the UK, aiming to offset emissions generated during repair processes. The initiative, tracked through Sedgwick’s carbon value calculator, neutralizes emissions by purchasing carbon credits supporting reforestation and eco-friendly energy projects.

For projects processed through client systems lacking carbon data, Sedgwick applies an estimated CO2 value per £ of repair cost, ensuring consistency across all repairs. This move positions Sedgwick’s repair solutions division as the first carbon-neutral network in its field.

The company also aims to reduce emissions at the source by prioritizing low-carbon materials.
