Ambrook raises $30 million
Financial management platform Ambrook has raised a $30 million Series B led by former Stripe executive Lachy Groom, bringing its total funding to $59 million.
Thomson Reuters Ventures, Thrive Capital, Field Ventures and Cameron Ventures participated, alongside Notion co-founder Akshay Kothari, Gusto co-founder Tomer London and Vercel CEO Guillermo Rauch.
Founded in 2020, Ambrook provides accounting, payments and cash-management tools to independent businesses in agriculture, trucking, construction and property management. Its platform uses AI to scan receipts, prepare bills and recommend transaction categories, with users approving each entry.
Ambrook now serves more than 8,000 businesses across all 50 states, up from around 2,500 in July 2025. Its customers include more than 1,000 trucking operators as well as farmers, contractors and property managers. The funding will support product development, AI capabilities and integrated payments and cash-management tools.

Bottom Line: With access to customers’ financial and operational data across several insurance-heavy industries, Ambrook is a natural candidate for embedded insurance. Its platform could support coverage such as crop, livestock, commercial auto, equipment, property, liability and workers’ compensation.
