Prudential partners with Empathy

Prudential Financial announced a new strategic relationship with Empathy, a startup offering legacy planning as well as services for people dealing with loss.

With Empathy, Prudential Group Insurance is expanding its beneficiary support services with access to a suite of bereavement tools to help navigate the aspects of loss — from funeral arrangements and obituary writing to probate and estate settlement, and more. Beneficiaries will also have access to dedicated Care Managers for personalized assistance through each task, decision and challenge.

“By enhancing our beneficiary support, Prudential is reaffirming its commitment to providing access to holistic support to our customers in the moments that matter. Our goal is to be the rock our policyholders and their families can rely on through every stage of life, not only with financial protection but also with the emotional and practical support when they need it most.” – Jessica Gillespie, Prudential’s head of Group Insurance Product and Underwriting.

“Our relationship with Prudential is an extraordinary opportunity for us to help more families through the complexities of loss by blending advanced technology with heartfelt care. Together we’re taking a big step toward creating a world where every individual receives the support they need when they need it most.” – Ron Gura, Empathy’s co-founder and CEO.
