Homesite withdraws manufactured home product in Oregon

In a recent filing, Homesite announced the withdrawal of its Manufactured Home insurance product in Oregon, effective September 15, 2024. This decision marks the company’s exit from this segment, while other lines of business, such as homeowners and renters insurance, remain unaffected.

The Manufactured Home product, brokered through AEGIS General Insurance Agency, will no longer be available for new policies or renewals. Policyholders are being offered renewal coverage through Lyndon Southern Insurance Company, as communicated in the nonrenewal and offer letters issued by Homesite.

Homesite’s filing was officially approved by the state on July 8, 2024, with the company ceasing new business and renewals under this product line by mid-September.
