Davies establishes Milan operation
UK-based insurance claims services provider Davies announced the opening of a new office in Milan, Italy.
Davies’ new operational center will provide scalable claims TPA and loss adjusting solutions for the Lloyd’s of London Market as well as Italian & global insurers with operations in Italy. Leveraging geographical and legal knowledge specific to the Italian market, Davies’ team of bilingual professionals will offer claims management expertise across a range of different lines of business.
Davies’ new Italian office will be headed up by newly appointed Director, Enrico De Micco, who joins the business following six years at law firm, DWF, where he was head of its European claims division. In his new role, Enrico will be responsible for leading Davies’ team of specialised claims handlers and adjusters, as the firm grows its presence in the region.
Enrico will report to COO of Core & Volume Claims, Richard Greer, who leads Davies’ core and volume claims solutions unit, headquartered in London, UK. Davies’ claims and legal solutions division provides end-to-end claims management, TPA and loss adjusting solutions as well as the full range of tech-enabled supply chain solutions and strategic defendant litigation services provided by its legal solutions arm, Keoghs.
The new office in Milan will spearhead the launch of Davies’ first dedicated claims operations outside of its existing operational centers in the U.S. and the UK & Ireland.
