Phillip Brain appointed as Head of A&H Asia at Arma Underwriting
Arma Underwriting , a provider of specialty insurance solutions, announced the appointment of Phillip Brain as Head of Accident & Health Asia. In this role, Phillip will oversee the strategic direction, growth, and operations of the Accident & Health (A&H) division across the Asian market.
Phillip brings over 25 of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong background in accident and health underwriting, product development, and market expansion. His expertise in navigating the complexities of the Asian market, coupled with his innovative approach to risk management, positions him as a key asset to Arma Underwriting’s leadership team.
In his new role, Phillip will be responsible for driving the growth of the A&H portfolio in Asia, enhancing product offerings, and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners. He will work closely with the global team to align the regional strategy with Arma Underwriting’s overall vision of delivering tailored, high-quality insurance solutions on. It’s an Underwriting and Consultancy basis.

Phillip holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from the University of Canterbury and has held several senior positions within the insurance industry, including the Head of International Accident & Health for Everest. He has consistently demonstrated his ability to drive business growth and deliver results.
