Co-operators unveils sustainable headquarters in Guelph

Co-operators  celebrated the grand opening of its new headquarters in Guelph, Ontario, consolidating five southern Ontario locations and 1,200 staff into a sustainable, state-of-the-art facility.

The new building, which began hosting employees in August 2024, reflects Co-operators’ commitment to sustainability and innovation, featuring a zero carbon design, LED lighting, and a rooftop solar array.

The headquarters is on track to achieve multiple sustainability certifications, including LEED Gold and WELL Platinum, reinforcing Co-operators’ focus on reducing operational emissions and enhancing employee well-being. With innovative design elements like electrochromic windows and natural finishes, the facility aims to create a collaborative and eco-friendly workspace, demonstrating the company’s leadership in sustainability and workplace innovation.
