Caroline Feeney named chair of LL Global

Caroline Feeney, executive vice president and CEO of Prudential’s U.S. Businesses, has been named 2025 board chair of LL Global, the nonprofit parent company of financial services industry groups LIMRA (Life Insurance Marketing and Research Association) and LOMA (Life Office Management Association).

Feeney previously served as LL Global’s vice chair and brings more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry to the role. She succeeds Adrian Griggs of Pacific Life Insurance Company.

“In a time where customer and client needs, preferences and challenges are rapidly evolving, there is no question that the power and leadership of our industry is needed now more than ever before. LIMRA and LOMA continue to serve as an important industry convener with invaluable insights, peer-networking, and industry-led shared solutions.” – Caroline Feeney.

Feeney said the widening protection gap and the changing needs, preferences and challenges of customers and clients will continue to have the biggest influence on the industry’s growth. “Addressing this will require innovation, capital and creativity in protection solutions and in how and where we meet our customers,” Feeney said. “Another factor is longevity — as people live longer, they will need to adopt new ways and utilize new tools to prepare for their futures. At Prudential, we believe that living a better life longer should not come at the cost of quality of life.”

LIMRA and LOMA have a combined membership of more than 700 insurance and financial services companies in 63 countries worldwide. Feeney’s board chair announcement came at the 2024 LIMRA Annual Conference. Chris Blunt, chief executive officer, F&G, was elected vice chair for 2025 and will succeed Feeney as chair in 2026.

“Caroline and Chris are extraordinary leaders who have been strong advocates for our organization. At a time of great industry transformation, we will benefit from their leadership.” – David Levenson, president and CEO, LIMRA and LOMA.

During her 30-plus-year career with Prudential, Feeney has held several home office executive roles and field leadership positions. These include CEO of Prudential’s U.S. Insurance and Retirement Businesses and president of Prudential Advisors, the company’s national sales organization comprising more than 3,000 financial professionals, advisors and fee-based financial planners.

Feeney’s financial services industry involvement also includes representing Prudential as a member of American Council of Life Insurers’ Executive Committee and its Policy & Regulatory Steering Committees. She also is chair of the board of the Alliance for Lifetime Income, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating Americans on the value of protected income as part of a retirement plan.
