Cyber insurance wholesaler raises $5 million

FifthWall Solutions , a cyber insurance company, has closed $5 million in Series A funding. Alongside the funding, the company has appointed Cole Knuth as CEO and Gene Stevens as CTO.

Founded in 2016, the Pennsylvania-based company partners with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to help clients navigate the cyber insurance process, understand risks, and enhance their security posture, with direct access to over 50 carriers.

Cole Knuth, previously with Pax8, brings significant experience in scaling technology companies and driving strategic growth. Gene Stevens, co-founder of ProtectWise, has a strong background in network security and product innovation, including leading roles at Verizon.

Doug Wright, CEO since 2015, will transition to Chairman of the Board. His tenure saw FifthWall double its staff and strengthen its position in the cyber insurance sector.

Additionally, Richard Garman and David Walsh have joined FifthWall’s board, bringing decades of expertise in financial technology, capital markets, and enterprise technology investments.
