EventPipe partners with Protecht

EventPipe, an event housing management software company, is introducing Booking Protection in collaboration with embedded insurance startup Protecht.

The new protection will be available for youth and amateur sports events, offering a new revenue stream for organizers. Guests benefit from a self-serve refund process handled by Protecht (within 72 hours), and organizers will have access to real-time insights to “quickly” resell refunded rooms.

Founded in 2020 and launched in 2021, EventPipe’s software has facilitated ~1.4 million reservations as of February 2024. The startup has raised $7.5 million in funding.
