Amwins launches flood insurance program for US golf courses

Amwins , a distributor of specialty insurance products, has introduced the “Tees-to-Green” flood insurance program, powered by Floodbase and backed by “A” rated carriers.

This program is designed to reimburse US golf courses for lost revenue and repair costs when courses are flooded.

Unlike traditional flood insurance, which typically covers only physical assets like golf carts and clubhouses, this program addresses the significant gap in coverage for damage to the course itself and business interruption. With golf courses often built on flood-prone land, the program helps mitigate the financial impact of prolonged closures, covering losses from green fees, concessions, hotel bookings, and more.
